Anime #3 (A big one) Gundam Seed!

It is my sincere pleasure to write about one of the best anime shows (in my opinion), Gundam Seed! I

Intro
Set in Cosmic Era 71, a war between the ZAFT alliance forces and the Earth Alliance forces has begun. Tensions are mounting, and after 11 months of war is where Gundam Seed starts. Basically, a neutral colony which wasn't supposed to be fighting got sucked into the war, which was where Earth hid their undiscovered mobile suits. Kira Yamato, an innocent boy, happens to come across the Earth being under attack, and pilots the Strike Gundam to save his friends from the enemy. This has 50 episodes to watch, and tons of characters to know and like (or hate, in Fllay's case).
Kira Yamato
A 16-year-old boy, very kind and gentle and the main character. Also the pilot of the Strike Gundam. His life is very complicated. He has a mechanical bord named Tori, which was made by his friend Athrun Zala. Too bad Athrun Zala is his main enemy. He's most often torn between killing people, but he usually has to to defend the ship he's protecting, the Archangel. He's had a very long journey, and encountered numerous enemies. His first kill is a ZAFT pilot named Miguel. When he is in trouble, he becomes a Beserker (that's someone who's usually kind but enraged when in battle). Usually calm, he flies into a rage when his friend Tolle is killed. He fights Athrun's mobile suit, and both get severly damaged. He later returns with his new suit, the Freedom. He is in love with Lacus Clyne, who is, ironically, Athrun's fiancée.
Athrun Zala
The main (enemy) character. He is the pilot of the Aegis, a very powerful mobile suit. He is now the leader of his own Zala team, with his crew member Yzak, Dearka and Nicol. He personally saw the defeat of his own friend Miguel, during the first battle of Kira's life. Back a while ago, he was Kira's friend, but is now his enemy. He made Tori for Kira, and numerous coloured Haros as gifts for Lacus. Like Kira, he is kind and gentle, and cares about his friends. Later on, when finding out his friend Nicol was killed, he gets into the battle with Kira and the Strike. He is reassigned and has a new mobile suit, the Justice Gundam. He, in the end, is with Cagalli Yula Attha, Kira's sister.
Cagalli Yula Attha
As previously mentioned, Kira's sister. Whenever she can, she pilots one of the two Sky Graspers the Archangel made, along with Muu Lla Flaga in the other one. Kira first meets her in Heliopolis, when it's under attack. Kira helps her escape, and later meets her in the desert, where she joins up with the Earth Forces temporarily. She is very strong-willled, and will never give up a fight. Later on, she finds herself stranded on an island with Athrun. They seem to warm up to each other, and they later get together. Cagalli findso ut Kira is her brother when her father, Lord Izumi, tells her.
ZAFT Forces Soldiers
Yzak Joule
A very short-tempered member of the Zala team and the pilot of the Duel Gundam. He previously got into a battle with the Strike in space, and during that battle got a scar on his face from Kira and the Strike. He now looks pure murder at Kira. His quest in life is to destroy Kira's Strike, but it turns out it's Athrun who does the job.
Nicol Amalfi
Probably the most calm member and the pilot of the Blitz Gundam. He has a bit of trouble controlling the Blitz, and that leads ti his demise later on when he is killed. He is one of the two people which start the battle between Athrun and Kira which destroy the two suits.
Dearka Elsman
Yzak's lacky, and the pilot of the Buster Gundam. He's very quick to get mad if anyone insults him or Yzak. He is captured by the Archangel, and surprisingly helps them in the end.
Rau Lecruset
The former leader of the Athrun, Yzak, Nicol and Dearka and the pilot of the CGUE gundam. Not much is known about him, other than he commanded the four in the previous battles in space. Oh ya, and he kidnapped Fllay. ; )
Archangel Crew Members
Murue Ramius
She is the captain of the Archangel, along with Lieutenant Badgiruel. She is often very stressed out about things, and treats Kira with the most respect, due to the fact he saved her life. It seems she is starting to fall in love with Muu Lla Flaga.
Natarle Badgiruel
An excellent soldier and commander of the Archangel along side Ramius. She has often stopped the Archangel from being destroyed, but sometimes makes rash decisions which Ramius doesn't agree with. She is later the captain of another Archangel called the Dominion with Clotho Buer, Orga Sabnak and Shani Andras as her defense.
Muu Lla Flaga
The pilot of one of the two Sky Graspers the Archangel has, he is a good friend of Kira, but is very laid back as well. He's taken a liking to Ramius, and thinks highly of Cagalli. He's been like Kira's father, teaching Kira things he ought to know, like when he told Kira what a Beserker was.
Fllay Allster
Now a very bitter member of the Earth Alliance forces. Early on in the episode, Kira tries to defend a ship her father was on, but couldn't, and her father died as a result. She now despises Co-ordinators (like Kira and Athrun) and wants Kira to fight and fight until he dies. She is later captured by Rau Lecruset and also dies.
Minor Members
Sai Argyle
He used to be Fllay's boyfriend, as arranged by her father, but breaks his heart after she tells him she's with Kira. He actually goes to an extreme and tries to pilot Kira's Strike after Kira hit him in an earlier episode.
Tolle Koenig
Not a huge character, but is important when he is killed by Athrun and flies Kira into a rage.
Miriallia Hau
A close friend of Kira from Kira's college days. When her boyfriend, Tolle, is killed, she is left to mourn. This happens when Dearka was captured. He made rude comments about her and Tolle, but apologized for them later.
That's as much character summary as I can do right now. Maybe I'll add stuff to it later.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

In honour of St. Patrick's day, I've started by typing in this green font for one day only. As a special treat, I'm going to show a St. Patrick's day poem!

The Irish Snake (from http://www.night.net/tucker/irishsnake.html-ssi )

There is a green grass snake named Shawn
Whose best friend is a leprechaun.
They hang out in the misty moors
And sometimes on the Irish shores.

The leprechaun who's name was Lou,
Cook shamrocks in his Irish stew.
His shillelagh stirs the pot just right,
John always hisses for a bite.

Across the land this special pair
Is talked about 'most everywhere.
It's such a mystery, goodness sakes,
For Ireland's said to have no snakes.

But occasionally, the two are seen
This Leprechaun and snake of green,
And Irish Hearts sing out with cheer
"We're glad to know a snake lives here."

Anime #2- Wolf's Rain

I've actually never heard about this animé before, but it looks interesting.

Wolf's Rain Intro

This show is set in the future, I think, because Earth isn't the way it is now, but it's slowly dying and the only places not dying are run by people who want complete control over the world, called Nobles. Even though there is all this bloodshed and disorder happening, there has been a legend about a place far better than earth called Paradise. The gods would send wolves as messengers and the wolves would be mankind's rebirth. The stupid humans thought of it as a complete lie because they thought wolves were extinct. No, they aren't; they are alive but take human form.
This is about a single wolf named Kiba who is attracted to the scent of a flower. He smells a girl named Cheza. Kiba is joined by three other people and they battle things ranging from soldiers to just plain unfriendly creatures.

Kiba
He is the main character of Wolf's Rain. He is very protective of Cheza, and will risk his life just to save her. He first meets Hige in wolf form, and is convinced to stay human for a while because humans arescared of wolves. He likes to keep a distance between his other friends, especially Tsume. Even though they work together in the end, they argue a lot in the earlier episodes.

Tsume
An otherwise cold guy who used to live with humans. He led a group of humans that would steal food from the Nobles. He hates humans, but only uses them for survival. At first he's ignorant of the other wolves, but soon works together with them.

Hige
The voice of reason in the group. He is who first meets Kiba. He doesn't really have a reason for joining the group, other than just leaving the city. He has a bad habit of chasing girls.

Toboe
The youngest group member. He used to live with an old woman, but after she died he ended up wandering the streets for whatver food he could find. He seems to follow Tsume around a lot, though Tsume thinks he's annoying.

Cheza
Created in a research lab, she is truly an enigma. She really bonds with the wolves and knows when they are there. The legend tells of her; she will lead the wolves to Paradise and current world will end. The Nobles know of her, and will even turn against each other just to get her for their own greedy reasons.

That's all for now, I will be adding more later.

My first Article-- Tokyo Mew Mew!

Thanks to anonymus tip (-_^) I've started my first anime article on Tokyo Mew Mew.

Tokyo Mew Mew

This is a show about a girl named Ichigo. She goes on a date a boy named Masaya Aoyama. The date is at the museum, and it turns out Mint, Pudding, Zakura and Lettuce are also at the museum. Then Ichigo gets zapped by a ray that scrambles her DNA with an endangered animal, the Iriomote Cat by two people who call themselves good guys named Ryou Shirogaine and Keiichiero Akasaka . Coincidentally, the other four girls also got zapped with other endangered animals. Ichigo somehow develops ears and tail like the cat, and is able to morph into Mew Ichigo.
After she is zapped, she must find the other four girls who were morphed. She is able to find them because they have special markings that no one else has. As mentioned before, she has ears and a tail like a cat. However, when she gets excited, they pop out, so that causes some problems. Anyways, her biggest problem, or rather the group they become, The Mew Mews, is three alien brothers named Tart, Kish and Pai.

Ichigo Momomiya

The main character of the show. She has pink hair (yuuuch) and is friendly and nice to everyone. She has some special attacks called Ribbon Strawberry Check and Ribbon Strawberry Check Suprise. (It's killing me to write this). Her weapons of choice are Sutoro Bells and Strawberry Bells Version Up.

Mint Aizawa

Her DNA was mixed with a Tahiti Blue Lory. She has blue hair (a little better) and can dance, knows calligraphy and plays the piano. She also loves to drink tea, and drinks there almost every day, ever since she was a little kid. She has a special attack called Ribbon Mint Echo. Her weapon is a Mintoon Allo.

Retasu Midorikawa (Lettuce)

Her DNA was mixed with the Finless Porpoise. She has green hair (what a surprise) and specializes in cooking and making desserts. She has an attack called Ribbon Lettuce Flash. Her weapon is a Lettuce Tanet.

Purin Fon (Pudding)

Her DNA was mixed with the Golden Lion Tamarin. She has reddish brown hair and specializes in gymnastics. She has an attack called Pudding Ring Inferno. Her weapon is a Pudding Ring (What a surprise, again.)

(Once I learn how to post pictures, I will post them.)

Zakuro
Her DNA was mixed with the Grey Wolf. She has purplish-black hair and is a famous actor adored by Mint in particular. Her weapon of choice is a crossbow with hearts to fire (oh god!). Her attack is Ribbon Zakuro Spear.

Thanks to Peppy Gal for the new updates and info!

Well, I guess it's an animé blog....

I wrote down my thoughts yesterday on how much animé has evolved, and it looks like that's all I'm gonna be posting about until this blog has been deleted! (Or, if Iforget the password to my account.) If any of you feel I should post about a particular animé, just post a comment and I'll be happy to find out and post the show on my blog.

Thoughts on Animé

People have been watching animé for years, and the shows have just evolved. Like Inuyasha, Gundam Seed, .hack//sign, and so many others. It's odd--- it's become a world-wide craze. I admit, I'm an animé freak, but I just wanted to address the situation for now. I wonder what animé will evolve to in another ten years? I'm unsure.
